Welcome to ACG Doctors! We are a group of 5 family physicians who work together to provide excellent and comprehensive primary care. 

In a time when practicing medicine can result in over 75% of physicians experiencing burnout - we have decided to join forces and create this group of physicians who work together to provide you and your family the care that you need.

While each of our physicians have their own 'list' of patients, our policy is to provide seamless coverage for our patients in times of  physician absences or urgent patient matters. We feel this provides our patients with the best comprehensive care while allowing your physician time for hospital duties, house calls, administrative work and work-life balance.

Our goal is to provide appropriately timed access to your primary care provider or, in emergency situations, another provider in our team.  We work very closely with the health practitioners at the North Simcoe Family Health Team and encourage you to browse our site and learn about the many programs, services and access options you have as one of our patients.

Our Story

Over 25 years ago, Dr Bob Archer and Dr Rick Coutts decided to form a cooperative group to provide better patient care. Several years later, Dr Mark Grundmanis joined the team. This formed the namesake of our group: Archer-Coutts-Grundmanis, or ACG. Since that time the group has expanded and accommodated the retirements of Drs Archer and Coutts, but their ideals live on in ACG.
